Safeguarding Compliance Officer

Job requirements

  1. Arrange Audits of clubs in line with RFU and CB requirements
  2. Undertake Audits of clubs in line with CB requirements
  3. Provide assistance to clubs for DBS applications
  4. Undertake DBS clearance applications for CB personnel
  5. Provide reports to CB council as requested
  6. Support to CBSM as needed
  7. Clearance of Festivals, internal (RFU) tours and Summer Camps
  8. Provision of support to CB Hon Sec for incoming and outgoing tours Law Reg 10

Personal Requirements:

  • Must be DBS cleared
  • Must have current or prepared to do Play it Safe and In Touch courses
  • Must be able to understand and operate GMS
  • Must understand the RFU DBS clearance system
  • Clean driving licence & must be prepared to travel across the CB to clubs for Audits and visits
  • Good IT skills and good inter personal skills, Interviewing experience would be an advantage
