Dorset & Wilts Club facilities – survey and ongoing updating request
D&W Club Support Team regularly works with the RFU’s Facilities Team to identify what our club needs are. This is a continuous and always challenging responsibility and something our clubs grapple with every day as they try to get the best for their members. Rugby is so welcoming and rewarding because clubs reflect their local communities and work hard to remain relevant.
Unsurprisingly, there is general pressure on all our clubs to maintain and improve the facilities your club members either play rugby at or retain connection to your local rugby world in. That said, funding is never quite sufficient, and aspirations often have to remain unfulfilled. Yet somehow progress is always being made.
At this year’s recently held facilities meeting we wanted to make the process a little more connected to our clubs. That should mean that when clubs see new opportunities or manage to fulfil something that was prioritised and now has been achieved, the information held by the RFU & D&W RFU is still accurate and relevant.
The survey we have previously asked you to complete from time to time is now going online. And that will mean that whenever something changes at your club, you can simply let us know by updating the information.
The link will always be a click or two away and easily found on the D&W website. Or you can make the link to it a favourite on your browser of choice and add in any changes you want us to know about.
